Altamira is strengthening the Real Estate area with the appointment of Augusto Monte as the new Territorial Coordination manager
Altamira Asset Management, the Spanish leader in the servicers sector, announced today the appointment of Augusto Monte Boquet as the new Territorial Coordination manager for the Real Estate area in Spain.
In this way Altamira intends to strengthen the Real Estate area of the company, with the recruitment of a recognised professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the real estate sector.
Augusto Monte shall be responsible for the territorial teams for all customers and product segments of Altamira and he shall report directly to the commercial business manager of Real Estate España, Marcos Beltrán, responsible for Commercialisation, Asset Management, Marketing and Attracting New Business.
Monte's admission will be key for the company's growth in the sector in view of his vast experience in the Real Estate business. Before joining Altamira, Monte was the commercial director of Culmia for more than two years and previously he held different management roles in companies like Haya Real Estate, Vertix, Solvia and Neinor.
His career will prove vital for a company like Altamira which is still growing its business both in Spain and in Portugal.
Since 2013, Altamira has increased the financial and real estate assets under its management from 25,000 million euros to 51,000 million. These assets include more than 120,000 real estate properties. Its transformation has also resulted in a very significant increase in the number of clients, switching from working with just one client to working with more than 25 clients. Today, Altamira forms part, together with the doValue Group, of the largest servicer in southern Europe with more than 160,000 million assets under its management in five different countries.
Augusto Monte has a degree in Law, an MBA-MAJ from Universidad Cardenal Herrera CEU, he is a Real Estate Agent endorsed by the Ministry of Public Works and he holds various urban development management, real estate and marketing titles.
The CEO of Altamira España, Francesc Noguera, highlighted the contribution represented by Monte's experience in the sector for the company. “We are happy to welcome Augusto to the team. His vast knowledge and experience in the real estate and servicing world will constitute major assets for Altamira”, he indicated.
